These were the excited words of Kaye Ward when her daughter Bryttany said, “Yes!” to the debonaire Garrard Lightbourne.
We had to work fast as the wedding was in two months! With a large inventory of papers, lasercuts, envelopes, brooches ribbons and so much more, it would be no problem for us to pull it off. This is what we do at Template.
The Bride’s mother Kaye Ward who is also a veteran entrepreneur, believed in keeping things local and decided that something as important as the invitations, should be done at home.
So Kaye along with her eldest daughter Jaynna, who was the maid of honour, sat in our private consultation room at Template to perfectly design the invitations, picking the colours and style. More importantly, there would be no delays, no surprises or disappointments because it was all being done here.
We were honoured and humbled to be chosen and quickly got to work preparing an invitation that was most fitting for the bride-to-be! Not only did we create one design, but two!
The bride fell in love with them both! They were unsurpassed - setting the tone for the wedding day - elegant, romantic and a whole lot of love.
The first design was a pouchette lavender lasercut. It featured a monogrammed bellyband wrap. When opened the two tiered invitation reflected the rich beauty of opulent purple.
The second design was a gatefold with an ornate rhinestone clasp buckle. It had a rich silvery purple ribbon bellyband wrapped around the gatefold jacket. We were able to create both of these designs in record time, for a wedding that was fast approaching.
She knew that she could count on us to get the invitations completed within only a few days.
We also completed an e-vite for guests abroad so that they could have enough time to plan to attend the nuptials.
The bride's radiant mother.
The church was beautifully decorated by Symone’s Baskets of Happiness as the couple said their vows.
At the ceremony, guests were able to follow along with programs matching to the entire stationery ensemble. A tea length booklet with shades of purple and pink floral was ideal.
Bryttany also required a few other important accessories such as the...
This shade of purple truly was beautiful and romantic.
We can’t say enough about the Bride and Groom’s parents who were so lovely. They were indeed supportive and proud of their children.
The reception was held at the historic British Colonial Hilton – 1 Bay Street. Once again Therez McKenzie of Symone’s Baskets of Happiness transformed the setting into something magical for the couple and their guests.
It kept everything organized and matched the décor beautifully.
Entered the bridal party with joy and excitement...
...followed by the bride and groom who did their thing!
This special suitcase from us at Template can be used for monetary gifts, special note cards or anything that you can creatively think of. It was used to hold flip flops for their guests dancing pleasure.
However, Bryttany chose the elegant beaded chest for her monetary gifts that is available for rental.
Bryttany’s Mom Kaye did an amazing job planning her daughter’s wedding. She was determined to make sure that her baby girl had an unforgettable day. It was a pleasure working along with her.
Kaye also secured Bryttany’s garter from us at Template. And might we say the Garrard took great delight in finding and tossing it!
We wish this fine young couple a marriage that brings them tons of joy and happiness for a lifetime.
