Andranique, our lovely bride is a calm and gentle spirit and is also a counselor, at heart and by profession. In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, she has shared her thoughts, shared healthy tips and gave advice on how to cope.
Our journey with the exquisite
Andranique Evans and auspicious Marlon Bethell started in an unusual way. We actually met the organizers of her bridal shower first, as they came to us to get her wedding shower invitations done.
And after a mishap with her first invitations, Andranique needed some assistance and came to us here at Template; for this ship was not about to sink! Captain Marlon and his First Mate Andranique were setting sail and docked at Template and discovered their fine treasure of custom wedding stationery.
We knew upon meeting Andranique that our experience together would be a great one and it was indeed. She is truly a lovely woman. She was very sure of what she wanted, but was also open to new ideas, which made working with her a dream.
For their wedding invitations, Andranique chose a send and seal wedding invitation. Send and seals are very unique type of invitation, as they require no envelope.
Couples also have the option to have their guests’ name printed on the front of their Send and Seal invitation, which was an option that Andranique and Marlon decided to go with.
The exterior of their invitation was a beautiful pink cardstock that feels like satin in the hands. The very lovely blush family cardstock was ordered all the way from India.
On the back of the invitation was a single tiered circular monogram, custom made for this couple. Because the groom’s love of the the sea, an anchor affixed with rope and aquatic design housed the letter B, symbolizing the duo’s last name.
For a more personal touch, both Andranique and Marlon’s names were placed at either side of the anchor and their wedding date was at the bottom.
Inside their invitation, the wedding details were printed on an ivory cardstock and enhanced with a lovely navy ribbon detail on the upper left and lower right corners.
Both the Reception details and the Gift Selection information were printed on the inside of the invitation so no additional cards were needed.
The monetary envelope was tucked perfectly into the lower right hand corner of the invitations.
A sign to guide guests was placed near the cage.
Guests delightfully placed their gifts in the gold beaded cage for the lovely couple. This golden treasure box is also available in silver and for rent from Template.
Finally, the day arrived. On Saturday, the third of August, 2019, at Grace Community Church, family, friends and supporters of the captain and his first mate arrived. Each guest was greeted with the beautiful tea-length wedding program, which held the itinerary of the day’s events. The paper and font type and color all matched the invitation perfectly.
Marlon took his place at the end of the aisle and awaited the arrival of his lovely bride Andranique. Before her beauty was revealed to all, she was preceded by her sign bearers. The signs they wore brought humour and a personalized touch to the wedding ceremony.
Finally, the moment arrived when Marlon set his eyes on Andranique. They met at the end of the aisle and their ceremony proceeded with lovely musical selections, words of encouragement and heartfelt moments.
Andranique fell in love with these tags and decided to use these instead of the traditional guest book. A sign was done and placed next to the tags that made it even more fun!
At their reception, Andranique and Marlon opted for an escort table, which housed their themed escort cards which echoed the look of tickets. Each card “gave the guest permission to board the ship” and their “deck” was their assigned table.
Per the couple’s request, we customized a few of the escort cards for child meals.
The deck numbers were also printed on the lovely satiny cardstock that both their invitations and program covers were printed on and were placed in dainty gold frames.
… soon it was time for cocktail hour and reception at Sapodilla.
Andranique and her father stole the evening. A beautiful moment.
As a token of their love and appreciation, Andranique and Marlon opted to have favour boxes done. The boxes were pink and have little transparent windows on two sides so guests could see the pink and blue confections inside. They were embellished with a navy blue satin ribbon and a single tiered monogram tag.
Guests enjoyed fine cocktails, dinner and dancing.
Congratulations to a truly beautiful couple. We were honestly pleased to be a part of their marriage celebrations! May their marriage be filled with love, joy, humour, romance, favour and understanding and their admiration and delight they have for one another last forever.
