She loves flowers. He loves the sea. They’re a match made in heaven, Just meant to be.
The duo chose Studio Café on West Bay Street as the venue for their coastal, easy going nuptials.
Beautifully embellished with blue hydrangea watercolour flowers and garnished with a nautical navy anchor, Ann Marie and Clifford’s wedding invitation was an effortless fusion of their two loves, flowers and the ocean.
The paper they chose to print on is so unique, it can almost be described as an experience. It is an iridescent, textured, heavy weighted paper. Adorned with microscopic grooves you can feel as you run your fingers across it, this magnificently crafted paper, mirrors the feel of silk.
While the touch of the soft lustrous fibers dispatch silky, satiny sensations throughout your body, your eyes are captivated by the little specks of glitter inconspicuously scattered throughout.
As the paper catches the light, it shows off its shimmery, kaleidoscopic finish. Talk about a sensory overload! No wonder Ann Marie fell in love the moment she saw it!
In addition to her invitation, Ann Marie also chose to have monetary envelopes printed on a very similar shimmery paper. We customized the envelopes by accenting them with the same beautiful blue watercolour flowers that were on her invitation.
With invitations sent out, anticipation
and excitement arose from the bride and groom’s families and friends as they awaited the Big Day!
Finally, on a breezy afternoon in October, at a half past four, the lovely Ann Marie locked eyes with the love of her life, Ricardo, as she walked down the aisle. She was a complete stunner in her elegant, ivory and gold wedding gown with a halter neckline. Ricardo looked very smart in his well-tailored grey suit.
With her delicately crafted bouquet of pale pink roses and his matching boutonniere, the two were ready to be wed. Sweet sayings and gentle notions were shared as the couple expressed their undying love to one another. What a joyous occasion it was!
After taking their post-wedding photos on the beach, the couple returned to their wedding reception to get the party started! Ricardo rung the ship bell for dinner.
Guests then enjoyed the laid back party atmosphere as they celebrated the promise of love shared between the couple. The setting was beautifully decorated featuring beautiful shades of blue, Ann’s favourite colour.
The delightful wedding cake and the enchanting guest favours were done by the bride’s daughter Martine Joseph of Sweetlifecuppycakes. We were happy to provide the favour boxes for these anchoring treats!
At the end of the night, wedding guests were engaged and entertained by the bright colours, flashy stones and hypnotic rhythms of a Junkanoo Rush Out! Ricardo’s favourite! With great delight he himself grabbed a pair of cowbells and shook, rattled and rolled his way through the night. What a great way to end the day!
As a special token to their guests, The Theobalds created thank you cards that superbly matched their invitations.
With its blue hued hydrangea flowers and printed on the same cardstock as the invitations, their thank you card made the perfect little keepsake.
Sweetly written inside were these words:
“Words cannot express the joy that we feel remembering that you shared the beginning of our new life together.”
~Mr. & Mrs. Clifford & Ann Marie Theobalds
Congratulations to a truly beautiful couple. We were truly delighted to be a part of their wedding day. May their marriage be filled with all the right elements: a bundle of love, a splash of humour, a dash of romance, and a dollop of understanding. May their adoration for one another and the joy they share together last forever.
